This leader understood, to his core, that people can’t stand being MANAGED!

What they absolutely LOVE is to follow someone who knows how to LEAD… inspiringly.
Someone who takes their range of skills, gifts and talents…
And multiplies them.

He will be wheeled out of his ‘cupboard’ of mixing with gleeful, embracing, chuckling clients and service providers… When the team jolly well says so.
And he’ll speak for as long as they instruct him.

Observe what people are talking about.

it’s not about their money, their wealth, the markets, their monetary legacy.
It’s about how they’re cared for. It’s about being treated with fascination and compassion.

The technical skills they’re served with are a ‘given’. They’re a hygiene factor.

The tales these folk tell are about lives made more meaningful; years filled with greater interest and discovery and wonder…
and advice crafted to give them opportunity to reshape this aching world.

This leadership is not about “What career opportunities can you provide for me?”
Or…“How well will I be remunerated?”

This leadership calls to another question…
